The Daily bread food bank launched its fall food drive
on Friday September 25th. It launched the food drive at fire hall #332.
The daily bread food bank is hoping to bring in 500,000 pounbds of food and $500,000 in cash donations before Friday October 16th.
Almost half of the people who use food banks have a serious illness or disability, and 35 percent of those who use it are children.
